Law enforcement authorities in Denver apprehended a man accused of fleeing a car crash and subsequently breaking into the Colorado Supreme Court building. The suspect had fled the scene after his vehicle was involved in a crash, leading to a detailed police search in the area.
The identification of the man has been kept confidential due to the ongoing investigation. However, it is known that he was detained by the Denver Police Department on premises of the Colorado Supreme Court building which was evacuated as a safety measure. Following the crash, the police cordoned off a wide block range near Colfax Avenue and Broadway, which caused traffic disruptions. But the area was eventually deemed safe, and employees were allowed to return to the Supreme Court building.
