National law firm Thompson Coburn has recently made significant additions to its team. According to a statement from the firm, Kenyen Brown and John Howard have joined the partnership in Washington, D.C., and St. Louis, Missouri, respectively.
Kenyen Brown, an experienced white-collar defense and investigations partner, arrives from Hughes Hubbard. Brown’s professional background includes a stint as the US Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama as well as an Assistant US Attorney role in Mobile, Alabama. He also served on the ethics committees of the US Senate and House. At Thompson Coburn, he brings his expertise in white-collar criminal litigation and compliance counseling.
John Howard, joining as a health care partner, brings a wealth of regulatory, transactional, and organizational knowledge to his new role. Howard has previously provided advice to health systems, physician groups, health plans, and healthcare executives. Notably, he has served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Physician Network at Novant Health.
The firm also welcomed Liz DiMichele as an employment counsel in their New York offices. The announcement of these key appointments underscores Thompson Coburn’s strategic growth as it moves further into 2024.
