It was recently reported that Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has secured the hire of a top private funds partner from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld’s London office.
This significant hire is part of Freshfields’ ongoing strategic plan to bolster its private funds operation. The new partner, whose name has not been revealed, will co-head the firm’s Global Funds Group, holding joint responsibility with New York-based partner, Tim Clark.
