Three high profile firms, namely Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, Kirkland & Ellis, and Ashurst, have been involved in the acquisition by General Atlantic of infrastructure investor Actis. This move is projected to establish a global investment platform with an impressive $96 billion in combined assets under management. Law.com reports that New York-based private equity firm General Atlantic, which commands around $83 billion in assets under management, has sought advice from the aforementioned firms, particularly Paul Weiss and Ashurst. This acquisition of Actis, notable for its sustainability-focus, is expected to remarkably augment the fund’s management assets.
