The closing of 2023 offered a boost to several lobbying firms in Big Law. The last quarter saw some firms surpassing their 2022 annual revenues, with the growth largely attributed to ongoing political disputes over government funding and Capitol Hill discussions related to artificial intelligence.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, Holland & Knight, and K&L Gates reported an increase in their Q4 lobbying revenue. However, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld and Hogan Lovells’ revenues slightly decreased when compared to their previous quarter’s earnings, according to the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) filings published on Friday. National Law Journal reports.
It should be noted that Brownstein, Akin, and Holland & Knight each reported year-over-year growth of their lobbying revenues from 2022, indicating that even amongst the tumult of an active political climate, many firms managed to achieve notable financial strides in their lobbying activities.
