ILTA Evolve Conference: Merging Cybersecurity and Generative AI in Legal Technology

The International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), renowned for its widely attended ILTACON conference in the United States and ILTACON Europe in London, unveiled a fresh addition to its annual conference repertoire named ILTA EVOLVE.

Per the announcement, this new conference is poised to replace a previous ILTA conference, the LegalSEC Summit. The Summit, which primarily revolved around cybersecurity, has been phased out and its key focus will now amalgamate with generative AI as the twin focal points of ILTA EVOLVE.

Slated for a two-day run from April 29 to May 1, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the conference themes in future years are intended to adapt to “the industry’s latest challenges and trends,” according to the announcement. The pivot towards generative AI as a focus only reflects the rapidly advancing nature of legal technology.

Ken Jones, co-chair of the conference and and COO at Tanenbaum Keale in New Jersey, shared, “ILTA EVOLVE is targeted at legal technology professionals and members of the broader legal profession, almost all of whom are dramatically impacted by technology and the process disruption that it drives.”

For those interested, registration will commence on Feb. 7. ILTA members will be charged a fee of $999, while non-members will need to pay $1,299 to participate.
