However, Weston’s partial summary judgment in 2022 led to the recent dismissal of negligence claims against the company. This victory came as the judge ruled that the plaintiffs failed to demonstrate a clear connection between Weston’s actions and the adverse event. Furthermore, the judge acknowledged that Weston did not owe a legal duty to the plaintiffs’ interests in this case.
