Over its seven-year course, the firm has seen an impressive line of alumni moving into the SDNY office, with Kim being the eighth in this series. This has reinforced the firm’s reputation as a fertile training ground for attorneys moving on to prestigious government offices.
On a concurrent note, the firm, despite losing a founding partner, has also announced an incoming member to manage its high-stake case portfolio. These cases include a diverse range of cases such as representing a party in the ongoing Bob Menendez case and unmasking a deceptive medical biller who masqueraded as Marcus Smart. Incoming partner Dan Noble, previously of Finn Dixon & Herling, will join the firm at the end of the month. Noble, similar to Kim, has headed complex fraud matters at the SDNY and has been part of the House Intelligence Committee’s legal staff.
In an interview with Law360, Noble expressed his admiration for the firm and its team. He described Krieger Lewin LLP as a remarkably strong litigation boutique in New York, well-respected among colleagues and former associates from the Office.
Accommodating the departure of a founding member and the inclusion of a new partner, the firm is poised for a balanced transition that seemingly favors all involved parties.
