Ramey is also set to spearhead the new exempt organizations practice at Lowenstein Sandler. Her key responsibilities will consist of providing advisement to a range of clients including tax-exempt organizations, private foundations, donor advised funds, along with high-net worth individuals. Ramey’s expertise will be instrumental in guiding these entities in terms of advancing their philanthropic objectives, as per the firm’s statement.
Before her transition to Lowenstein Sandler, Ramey held a position of partner at Steptoe. Prior to that, she functioned as an attorney and policy advisor at the US Treasury Department.
