YSL Gang Trial Takes Unexpected Turn: Defense Attorney Arrested on Gang-Related Charges

Unfolding in the most unexpected way, the infamous YSL RICO case sees yet another accused of participating in YSL gang activity – but this time, the accused is a legal professional. Defense attorney Nicole Fegan, who formerly represented defendant Tenquarius Mender in the YSL Rico gang trial, has been arrested on gang-related charges. Complex reports on the case, stating that Fegan was taken into custody by Atlanta police over allegations she contacted a suspect in relation to a shooting incident.

According to Atlanta Police Department’s official statement, “Investigators received information that Nicole Fegan contacted a suspect in the shooting, advising him of active warrants for his arrest. Fegan provided information she had learned during a preliminary hearing related to the shooting and advised the suspect to dispose of his phone as police were going to arrest him. Investigators confirmed Fegan was not representing the suspect she called.”

Fegan, now charged with participating in criminal street gang activity and criminal solicitation to commit the offense of tampering with evidence, should presumably have known better considering her legal training. Highlighting this irony, Fegan is now facing the severe backlash from the online community. Notably, Fegan has been connected with several big names in the Atlanta rap scene, making this case all the more fascinating. As for her future, one can only hope she hires an experienced professional who can competently defend her, perhaps someone without such a high profile in the social media space.
