Global law firm Reed Smith has welcomed a new partner to its Life Sciences Health Industry Group. Matthew D. Jacobson, a product liability expert, was announced as the latest addition to the team. Jacobson is ready to bring his wealth of litigation knowledge focused on drug and device liability cases, having previously gained experience in managing multidistrict actions and class actions.
Jacobson brings with him experience from his time at Holland & Knight, and is set to operate from the Reed Smith’s offices in Miami and Washington, D.C.. In addition to his litigation work, Jacobson also has a background in supporting companies as they face government investigations. His return to Reed Smith was officially announced by the firm on Thursday.
