International law firm Greenberg Traurig has announced its tenth consecutive year of revenue growth, with the firm bringing in a reported $2.3 billion in 2023, according to their official statement. Marking a 6% increase in revenue compared to the previous year, the firm’s financial performance illustrates its resilience amidst drastic changes and disruptions over the past decade, according to Bloomberg Law.
Executive Chairman of Greenberg Traurig, Richard A. Rosenbaum, attributed the firm’s consistent financial success to its “uniquely diversified set of clients, talent, practices, industries, and locations, across the U.S. and the world”.
Aside from a robust financial year, Greenberg Traurig also made strides to expand its global presence. The Miami-founded law firm launched new offices in San Diego, Dubai, Riyadh, and Singapore in 2023. The firm saw high-profile lateral hires in Chicago, Miami, New York, and across the US, as well as in Europe, reflecting its focus on harnessing new expertise to strengthen its key practices and industries.
Regarding new roles within the firm, it was announced that 38 new shareholders would be elevated to partner across 20 of its offices in 12 practice areas, while 22 lawyers will be promoted to of counsel across 14 offices. These moves further indicate the firm’s ongoing commitment to firm-wide growth and development even in the face of challenging circumstances.
