Global law firm Allen & Overy (A&O) has officially announced the two figures who will lead the merged entity, A&O Shearman. Named as senior partner, Khalid Garousha was previously the interim global managing partner for the firm. The role of managing partner will be filled by Hervé Ekué, presently the managing partner of A&O’s Paris location.
The merger between Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling is set to become official in May. The leadership announcements are a crucial step in the process, solidifying the governance of the soon-to-be consolidated entity.
