Freshfields has strengthened its private capital team with the strategic addition of two seasoned partners in New York, according to Bloomberg Law.
Neal J. Reenan and Ian N. Bushner are the recent hires, bringing with them valuable skills and experiences to their new roles at Freshfields. The firm announced the enlistment on Monday.
In his new role, Reenan will serve as global co-head of private capital. Meanwhile, Bushner will undertake the responsibilities as head of US private capital. Both of them will leverage their wealth of experience to shape Freshfields’ presence in the American private capital sector.
The newly-minted partners have wide-ranging expertise, including representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Their roles will encompass providing strategic counsel as well as executing US and cross-border acquisition, divestiture, and financing transactions on their client’s behalf.
