Vincent Galluzzo, an intellectual property (IP) expert, has left Crowell & Moring to join K&L Gates as a partner in the firm’s IP practice in Charlotte, NC. Known for his extensive work in high-tech patent and trade secret litigation, appeals, and software licensing disputes, Galluzzo’s addition to the team is expected to further bolster the firm’s IP legal expertise.
Besides working on litigation and appeals, Galluzzo also offers advice on open-source software use, IP monetization strategies, portfolio management, and licensing for software and other types of intellectual property. He is coming from a role where he co-chaired the trade secrets working group at Crowell & Moring, a well-respected law firm with strong offerings in IP and tech law.
Considering the increasing importance of digital assets and intellectual property, Galluzzo’s strong background in handling complex IP-related disputes and his notable expertise in high-tech patents and trade secret law will be critical for K&L Gates and its clients.
