Pinsent Masons Bolsters Australian TMT Practice with KPMG Law Team Acquisition

Global law firm, Pinsent Masons, is venturing into the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) industry in Australia. For this major leap, the firm has recruited two partners from KPMG Law.

James Arnott and Veronica Scott, both proven industry experts, have left their positions at KPMG Law to join Pinsent Masons. James Arnott, the former head of KPMG’s technology and digital transformation team, and Veronica Scott, who led KPMG’s cyber, privacy, and data practice, will be leading the TMT practice at Pinsent Masons.

The dynamic duo is also bringing with them a team of six skilled lawyers from KPMG. This push is part of Pinsent Masons’ rapid expansion in Australia and represents the firm’s third new practice in the region since December.
