Before joining Weil Gotshal & Manges, Mulligan held a prominent role at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He acted as the investment advisor and private funds senior advisor and co-coordinator of the private funds specialized working group, according to disclosure by Weil. These past responsibilities seem to indicate that Mulligan will bring with him a valuable level of expertise to his new position at Weil.
During his tenure at the SEC, Mulligan’s endeavours certainly focused on developing useful skills pertinent to his latest role at Weil.
