Joshua Ratner, a seasoned expert in law and finance, has made his transition to global law firm Paul Hastings as a New York-based partner and the Global Vice Chair of Private Equity. His new position, announced recently, adds substantial value to the firm’s robust portfolio.
Prior to this, Ratner had been serving as co-chair of the food and healthy practice at Goodwin Procter. He also held the position of Managing Director and General Counsel, Private Equity, for York Capital Management and its York Special Opportunities Funds. These roles have provided Ratner with a deep understanding of the private equity industry.
Ratner’s portfolio is marked by his extensive work with venture capital and hedge funds, family offices, operating companies, and most notably, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Given his wide-ranging background, having Ratner on Paul Hastings’ team cements the law firm’s strong presence in the private equity scene and promises to enhance its client service even more.
Details of Ratner’s move can be found in the original Bloomberg Law report.
