InfoTrack’s Steady Rise: Transforming Litigation Services and Workflows in US Legal Tech

Despite its rapid growth, InfoTrack remains somewhat under the radar in the realm of legal technology firms within the United States. The names of its associated brands, such as ServeNow, a service for locating process servers, One Legal for court filings in California, LawToolBox for court calendaring, and the Legal Talk Network of legal podcasts, may sound more familiar.

Ed Watts, CEO of InfoTrack in the U.S., recently featured on the LawNext podcast, where he highlighted the company’s mission to bring innovation and potentially revolutionary changes to litigation services and workflows. Legal professionals across the U.S. are increasingly relying on InfoTrack’s suite of products for routine tasks such as court case filings, court docket tracking, court record searches, and process service arrangements. Making this suite even more attractive is that it seamlessly integrates with all major law practice management platforms.

Interestingly, InfoTrack’s success story in the U.S. originates from a company founded in Australia in 2012, which emerged as a spinoff from the LEAP law practice management platform. The company decided to spread its wings first to the U.K., and later extended its presence to the U.S. in 2016.

Upon entering the U.S. market, InfoTrack embarked on an expansion spree organically and via strategic acquisitions. In 2020, InfoTrack acquired two legal tech companies: LawToolBox, a court calendaring company, and One Legal, a litigation support service provider offering court filing, process servicing, and document retrieval services in California. It continued its expansion in 2021 when it added Lawgical, the parent company of ServeNow, Serve Manager, and the Legal Talk Network, to its portfolio.

Ed Watts, who was the first employee when InfoTrack expanded to the U.S., discussed the company’s history, its current standing, and its future growth plans in his conversation on the LawNext podcast.
