New England Legal Awards 2022: Nominations Open for Recognizing Legal Excellence

Law.com has opened nominations for its second annual New England Legal Awards. The awards recognize professional excellence in the legal industry within the New England region, including Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

This year, several new categories have been introduced, including awards for intellectual property lawyers and teams, mergers and acquisitions, and banking & finance.

The New England Legal Awards submission portal is now accepting nominations in these categories:

  • New Leaders in the Law (including an overall Young Lawyer of the Year winner)

  • Legal Innovators & Disrupters
  • Outstanding Officiators
  • Social Impact (diversity, pro bono, ESG, public service, public sector)
  • Unsung Heroes
  • Best Mentors
  • Regional Managing Partner of the Year
  • Law Firm of the Year
  • Partner of the Year
  • Merger and Acquisition Attorney of the Year
  • Intellectual Property Attorney of the Year
  • Banking and Financial Attorney of the Year
  • Real Estate Firm of the Year
  • In-House Impact: In-House Departments of the Year
  • In-House Impact: Individuals
  • Litigation Departments of the Year, General Litigation
  • Litigation Departments of the Year, Specialty Categories (i.e., Appellate, Intellectual Property, Products Liability/Mass Torts, Labor and Employment, Insurance, Commercial Litigation, Family Law, Business Litigation, Arbitration/ Mediation Services, Personal Injury, White Collar/Corporate Compliance, Probate, Solo litigation practice, and Other)

The deadline for submissions is June 7, and the award winners will be announced in late July. The awards gala dinner will be held in September.
