Arnold & Porter has expanded its environmental team by onboarding Jeffrey Talbert, a former trial attorney at the US Department of Justice (DOJ), as a partner. Talbert will be based in the Newark, New Jersey, and Boston offices, according to a recent firm announcement.
With robust experience in the environmental enforcement sector of the environment and natural resources division at the DOJ, Talbert brings a well-rounded regulatory perspective to the team.
Talbert offers clients guidance on environmental litigation, permitting, risk management, and due diligence. He also assists the allocation and mediation of liability among parties at Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) or Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) sites, according to Arnold & Porter.
