Online Law Schools Gain Momentum as ABA Proposal Receives Overwhelming Support

The American Bar Association (ABA) has recently seen strong support regarding its proposal to permit full online law schools eligibility for provisional and complete ABA approval. Since opening the 60-day notice and comment period in January, the ABA has received numerous comments on the proposed alterations to Standard 102 (Provisional Approval) and Standard 306 (Distance Education). By the time the comment period closed, no less than 38 pages of remarks had been published, with 11 out of the 13 feedback favoring the proposal.

The deadline for comment submissions was set for midnight Monday. Please note that the full content of the original article may be partly inaccessible due to paywall restrictions.
