James Fredricks, former Chief of the Washington Criminal II Section of the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice, has joined Skadden as a partner. His affiliation with the firm’s antitrust and competition group in Washington, D.C., was officially confirmed on a recent Monday.

Prior to joining Skadden, Fredricks played a crucial role in dealing with the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice in addition to his responsibilities as the assistant chief of the division’s Appellate Section.
