February MBE Examinee Numbers Surge in Tandem with Rising National Mean Scaled Scores

The legal profession has witnessed a significant increase in the number of examinees taking the February Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) in tandem with a rise in the National Mean Scaled Score. This is the highest number of examinees for a February administration since 2020 when it was recorded that 19,122 aspiring attorneys took the February bar. The numbers had initially seen a decline in 2021 with 16,759 examinees, further dipping in 2022 to 16,504 examinees, as per NCBE data.
