Derek Smith is set to operate from the firm’s Chicago office, along with Jeremy Goldkind. Smith’s portfolio boasts an extensive practice of representing clients from diverse sectors like chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and specialty-material in complex and mass tort litigations. His addition to Venable is deemed to offer a significant boost to the firm’s product liability and mass torts group.
