On a recent Wednesday, Aderant, a business and legal management software provider, announced an exciting new collaboration with the Vanderbilt AI Law Lab (VAILL) at Vanderbilt Law School. The partnership will seek to expand access to justice, aligning with the key mission of VAILL. The collaboration becomes another significant milestone in Aderant’s ongoing engagement with the broader legal tech community.
As reported, Vanderbilt’s innovative AI Law Lab, part of the school’s Program on Law & Innovation (PoLI), was inaugurated in November 2022. VAILL was co-founded by Mark Williams, associate director for collections and innovation at Alyne Queener Massey Law Library, and Caitlin “Cat” Moon, director of innovation design at PoLI, both of whom currently serve as co-directors of the lab.
The confluence of Aderant’s industry expertise with VAILL’s academic clout aims to explore the ways artificial intelligence (AI) could revolutionize legal services and access to justice. Aderant joins VAILL’s roster of legal tech providers committed to bolstering access to justice using AI and other emerging technologies.
