The adult entertainment industry, represented by a group known as the Free Speech Coalition, has called upon the Supreme Court to temporarily pause a Texas law that imposes age-verification measures for access to online sexual content. Websites showing explicit adult content are compelled under the statute to verify that individuals accessing their platforms are aged 18 or older. Nonetheless, the Free Speech Coalition argues that the law also hinders adult access.
