Am Law 100 firms, Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders and Locke Lord, have reportedly begun merger talks, according to a confirmation given to The American Lawyer. If successful, the merger will establish a scaled firm of over 1,600 lawyers with a projected position at 28th on the Am Law 100 ranking.
