New Jersey Legal Awards 2024: Expanding Recognition for Exceptional Attorneys and Firms

The New Jersey Law Journal has announced its call for nominations for the 2024 New Jersey Legal Awards. The awards aim to recognize exceptional attorneys and legal work throughout the state. This year, corporations and law firms of all sizes with an office in New Jersey are eligible for the Litigation Departments of the Year honors.

This year’s awards have also introduced several new categories, which include Office Managing Partner of the Year, Banking and Financial Firm of the Year, Real Estate Firm of the Year, Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year, Intellectual Property Attorney of the Year, and Cannabis Law Practice of the Year.

Individual attorneys nominated for any category are required to submit a Certificate of Good Standing, Certification of Court of Last Resort or an alternative letter of certification. If the candidate does not possess a copy of the requisite letter at the time of submission, certification is necessary to assure one will be provided if the nominee is selected (for more information, click here).

As per tradition, the Journal will assemble panels comprised of esteemed members from the New Jersey legal community to assist its editorial staff in evaluating applications for the Attorney of the Year and New Leaders of the Bar categories.

Submissions are accepted across a wide range of categories, from Law Firm of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, and Dealmakers, to Innovators, In-House Impact, Diversity Initiative and more. For any contest not explicitly indicated, contestants are to assume the contest period is from January 1, 2023, through the submission deadline.

The deadline for submission is July 9, 2024. For further inquiries, reach out to Recognition Desk Manager, Pearl Wu.
