Arkansas Attorney Apprehended Following Alleged Armored Vehicle Robbery Attempt

In a shocking incident last week, an Arkansas attorney, Chad Green, was apprehended following an alleged attempt at robbing an armored vehicle outside of a Bank of America in Little Rock, according to the
Arkansas Times. As per reports, he was shot during the incident, yet managed to escape on his bicycle, leading a chase with local law enforcement.

A detailed account given by John Martin, an employee of Loomis Armored Services who was servicing an ATM machine outside the Bank of America location, describes Green’s alleged attempted robbery. Martin recounts how Green allegedly sprayed him with mace, prior to Martin pulling out his service weapon and firing multiple shots at Green.

Stunningly, even after being shot, Green was able to flee the scene on his bicycle before police could apprehend him. However, Green was eventually located by state police on an interstate highway not far from the initial scene of the alleged crime. After informing law enforcement that he had been shot, Green was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. His condition was later described as stable.

Friends and acquaintances of Green expressed shock at these events, considering them as “out of character” as per
KARK 4. They shared that there had been some concerns about his state of mind before the attempted robbery. Chad Green, once a criminal defense attorney, may now necessitate his own criminal defense attorney in the face of what lies ahead.
