Cravath Joins Biglaw Exodus to Hudson Yards, Boosting Revitalized Manhattan District

Renowned for their significant role in the Biglaw arena, Cravath has recently made the strategic move to Hudson Yards, aiming to utilize the revitalization of the newly trendy neighborhood to construct and inhabit high-end, bespoke office spaces. This move follows in the footsteps of other prominent firms such as Milbank, Boies Shiller, Cooley, Debevoise, Crowell & Moring, Ashurst, and Skadden.

Cravath’s Presiding Partner, Faiza J. Saeed, expressed anticipation and enthusiasm for the firm’s new chapter in its third century in New York, operating from their new office located at Two Manhattan West. The state-of-the-art office is geared towards delivering high-quality service to their clients from the dynamic new district of Manhattan.

As for what the offices look like, they are equipped with top-notch amenities designed to entice the new generation of law professionals who have grown accustomed to working from home. The overall design and setting aim to offer a blend of traditional charm and contemporary convenience. The new facilities include collaborative workspace areas scattered across several floors, dining areas adjacent to the cafeteria, and even an On Tap Beverage Bar which is expected to be a prevalent spot.

In addition, there are provisions for a majestic staircase leading down from Cravath’s 37th-floor reception and a library that retains an old-school charm and grandeur. Further adding to the office’s appeal is a well-facilitated lactation room, demonstrating the firm’s consideration for new mothers in the workforce.
