Notable law firm, Ropes & Gray, has added former assistant US Attorney, Sarah Walters, to their team. Walters is joining as a partner in the litigation and enforcement practice at their Boston office, the law firm revealed earlier this week. Ropes & Gray confirmed in a statement.
Prior to this, Walters served as an assistant US attorney for the District of Massachusetts. She was also a liaison to President Obama’s Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force as confirmed by Ropes & Gray.
Throughout her legal career, Walters has honed her skills by assisting clients in various investigations. These include those related to accounting and financial disclosure irregularities, sensitive personnel issues, and also matters related to the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
Further details of the transition and Walters’ role at the firm weren’t immediately reported.
