In a mounting legal battle, Johnson & Johnson has initiated action against the authors of an expert report. This report has been used by plaintiffs’ attorneys in litigation contending that Johnson & Johnson’s baby powder is linked to mesothelioma.
The lawsuit was filed by a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson and is aimed at Dr. Theresa Emory, a pathologist at Peninsula Pathology Associates, along with two other experts: Dr. John Maddox, also from Peninsula, and Dr. Richard Kradin, a pulmonologist and pathologist based in New Hampshire.
This escalation comes as a part of Johnson & Johnson’s ongoing effort to challenge the claims made against its baby powder product. For additional information regarding this ongoing legal battle, click here to read the article on law.com.
