The Legaltech Week Roundtable Panel, a forum for expert commentary and discussion on the week’s legal tech news, returned this week after being away last Friday. In a lively and occasionally irreverinent session, panelists shared a variety of insights, with some attendees providing an overview of the inaugural ILTA Evolve conference, a platform for legal tech leaders to explore issues related to technology-driven change in the legal industry.
With none of the panelists having attended the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) event, feedback and insights from audience members who went to CLOC were welcomed. Reader participation in such discussions can offer valuable input not only to fellow audience members but also to panelists themselves.
Viewers are encouraged to sign up to attend the roundtable discussions. After a one-time registration, they will be enrolled for all future sessions. Previous episodes can be accessed as a podcast or on YouTube.
The panelists’ lineup changes weekly, but frequent participants include Nicole Black, a legal technology columnist at MyCase; Stephen Embry, publisher at TechLaw Crossroads; Caroline Hill, editor-in-chief at Legal IT Insider; Victor Li, assistant managing editor of the ABA Journal; and Jean O’Grady, publisher of the blog Dewey B Strategic, among others.
