John Saran brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in healthcare transactions. He has been instrumental to both healthcare companies and private equity investors, advising on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, as well as public offerings within the healthcare industry.
Saran’s regulatory practice is vast and varied, focusing on issues ranging from new state health care transaction laws to the corporate practice of medicine. He has been assisting clients with disputes related to fraud and abuse laws, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and state licensure, amongst others.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Saran had a productive tenure at Ropes & Gray. A provider of first-rate legal services, Holland & Knight has presumably added even more strength to its team with Saran, particularly within its healthcare transactions operation, given his robust background in the healthcare sector.
