A technology and commercial law team of five from EY has moved to Browne Jacobson, which ranks among the top 50 law firms in the UK. The team’s new office is located in London.
This strategic move follows a previous warning from EY’s legal arm about impending cuts.
The team is led by partners Rowan Armstrong and Alex Mason, who had joined EY Law in 2021. Three other lawyers comprise the rest of the team now at Browne Jacobson.
This update could have significant implications, noting the previous indication by the Big Four firm of redundancies appearing on the horizon earlier in the year.
