Leading international law firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, is making alterations to its London office by transforming some collaborative areas into work spaces.
According to someone close to the matter, the firm is trialling modifications to assess the value of previously allocated collaboration spaces. These changes will include the addition of work-desks in place of soft seating, along with increased partitioning. However, it has been assured that the firm will maintain available meeting spaces in these areas.
As part of a bigger trend, finding the ideal balance between cellular and open-plan working has become a priority for several law firms. These adjustments reflect the shifting dynamics of office design and working patterns within the legal sector.
