The group is front-lined by seasoned partner Jia Yan, recently the co-chair of Paul Hastings’ Beijing and Shanghai offices. In addition to Jia Yan, the team encompasses one special counsel and three associates who have also made the move to Pillsbury’s operations in both Beijing and Shanghai. This transfer leaves Paul Hastings with two offices and a total of 20 lawyers on the mainland, which includes five partners.
