Document automation software company, Gavel, recently announced its decision to replace the use of GPT-4 with GPT-4o in its platform. The ‘o’ in GPT-4o stands for ‘omni,’ referring to OpenAI’s newest large language model.
The integration process was rapid, taking place just two days after the model was made publicly available on May 13th. By May 17th, the capabilities of GPT-4o were benchmarked and the resulting benefits made accessible to all users of Gavel’s platform, including those currently on a free trial.
The chief benefits were outlined by Dorna Moini, Gavel founder and CEO, who highlighted a remarkably significant increase in accuracy of 25% and a reduction in operational costs by a substantial 50% with the use of GPT-4o, compared to its predecessor GPT-4.
