George Conway, noted former partner at Wachtell, has made waves in recent years as more of a Republican never-Trump standard bearer than for his accomplishments in law. Oftentimes, his political stance has garnered more attention than his professional capabilities. Once an advisor to Donald Trump, Conway has been busily involved with the Lincoln Project, an organization focused on preventing Trump’s potential re-election in 2024.
Interestingly, Conway has seemingly taken his political convictions a step further. In a recent social media post, he revealed that he had purchased a billboard, one designed to irk the former President. The slogan? “Vote For Joe Not The Psycho”. To add salt to the wound, the billboard is strategically placed near Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Floridian residence.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, Conway shared his motivation behind the billboard. He initially considered using high-visibility locations such as the Holland or Lincoln tunnel but decided on the Mar-a-Lago vicinity after learning that Trump’s campaign would be headquartered near West Palm Beach Airport over the summer. Conway openly expressed his amusement over his tactical move and hoped it would amuse the former President as much as himself.
