Massachusetts Governor Nominates Four Associate Justices for Probate and Family Court Department

Massachusetts Governor Maura T. Healey has announced four nominations for associate justices to the state’s Probate and Family Court Department. The nominees, namely Jessica Dubin, Alexandra Flanders, Mikalen Howe, and Carla Salvucci, are set to be considered by the Governor’s Council for confirmation. The Probate and Family Court, a critical institution for the administration of justice, adjudicates matters involving families and children, including divorces, child support, and wills.

This follows Gov. Healey’s previous appointment of Manisha Bhatt, Bernadette Stark, and Michelle Yee as associate justices for the same court. In a statement, Gov. Healey expressed her confidence in the competence of the selected attorneys and their potential contributions to the bench.
