Michael Holston Joins Paul Weiss as Partner After Steering General Electric’s Legal Strategy

After 17 years of leading legal departments at some of the world’s top companies, Michael Holston is making a return to Big Law. Holston will join Paul Weiss as a partner. In April, he left the Boston-based industrial conglomerate General Electric, where he had been general counsel since 2018, after helping orchestrate its breakup into three companies—GE Aerospace, GE Healthcare, and the energy-focused GE Vernova.
