ASU Law and Diné College Launch World’s First Tribally Affiliated Legal Education Program

The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University has partnered with Diné College and the Navajo Nation to establish a first-of-its-kind legal education program focused on Native American law. This initiative marks a milestone in legal education by introducing the world’s first tribally affiliated legal education program. The curriculum features four comprehensive law degrees tailored to meet the evolving legal needs of the Navajo Nation, according to an announcement by ASU Law. “This marks a milestone in reimagining legal education,” ASU Law Dean Stacy Leeds said in a statement.
