Paul, Weiss Bolsters Antitrust Practice with Addition of Former DOJ Trial Lawyer in D.C. Office

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison has announced the appointment of Christopher Wilson as an antitrust partner in its Washington, D.C. office. Wilson, previously a trial lawyer with the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division, brings substantial experience in handling major merger reviews before both the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). His expertise extends to advising on matters involving the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act, the FTC Act, and the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) merger review process.

Wilson’s role at Paul Weiss will be within the firm’s litigation department, where he will provide counsel on various antitrust matters such as merger control, cross-border investigations, and private party litigation that encompass complex antitrust and consumer protection issues. This move strengthens Paul Weiss’s antitrust capabilities in the highly competitive Washington, D.C. legal market.
