Andy Stone has joined the law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a government solutions and investigations partner in its Phoenix office, the firm announced Tuesday.
Stone transitions to Dorsey after nearly a decade at the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona, where he advanced to the position of chief of the financial crimes and public corruption section. During his tenure, he led the prosecution of numerous white-collar crimes, encompassing fraud related to healthcare programs, investments, securities, business, tax, and cyber activities.
His career before public service included a six-year stint as a commercial litigator with Snell & Wilmer, giving him a broad spectrum of experience in both public and private sector legal challenges. Stone’s move adds significant depth to Dorsey’s capabilities in handling complex financial crimes and public corruption cases.
