Live Nation and its subsidiary Ticketmaster are facing four data breach class action lawsuits in the Central District of California. These legal challenges come on the heels of a recent Department of Justice lawsuit against the companies. Plaintiffs in these cases allege that Ticketmaster and Live Nation failed to safeguard users’ private information following a cyberattack.
Two of the cases, Ryan v. Ticketmaster and Getman v. Ticketmaster, were filed last week. The plaintiffs in the Ryan case are represented by Clarkson Law Firm, while those in the Getman case are represented jointly by Clarkson Law Firm and Sterlington.
