Noland Cheung has joined Eckert Seamans as a member of its intellectual property (IP) practice in the Pittsburgh office, the firm announced. Bringing extensive expertise in IP protection and enforcement, Cheung focuses on patent, trademark, and copyright law, and helps clients utilize IP rights to achieve their business objectives.
In addition to IP enforcement, he provides counsel on patent procurement, e-commerce, social media implementation, and due diligence for mergers and investments involving significant IP portfolios. Cheung’s role is expected to bolster the firm’s capabilities in navigating complex IP landscapes for their clients Thursday.
The addition of Cheung’s expertise to Eckert Seamans’ IP team also brings special counsel Gary Matz and a patent agent to the fold, further enhancing the firm’s service offerings in protecting and managing intellectual property.
