The Ontario Bar Association has appointed Colin Lachance as its 2024-25 innovator-in-residence to lead a new initiative aimed at helping lawyers integrate artificial intelligence into their daily practice. Lachance, a co-founder of legal tech startup Jurisage AI, which merged with CiteRight last year, will focus on enhancing AI adoption across the legal profession. The OBA represents a substantial segment of the Canadian legal community, including over 16,000 lawyers, judges, law professors, and law students.
