New York Supreme Court Dismisses $80 Million Lawsuit Against Chainalysis


The $80 million breach-of-employment contract suit filed against blockchain analysis firm Chainalysis has been dismissed by Judge Joel M. Cohen of the Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court. The decision, rendered on June 7, favored Chainalysis, which was represented by counsel from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Judge Cohen found that plaintiff Blake Ratliff failed to state a viable claim for relief and further determined that the lawsuit was untimely.
