Duane Morris has announced the appointment of partner Ted Chiappari as the new chair of the immigration division within the firm’s employment, labor, benefits, and immigration practice group. Chiappari steps into the role previously held by Lisa Spiegel, who occupied the position since 2019.
Chiappari’s practice focuses on business immigration, where he assists companies in obtaining temporary work permits and permanent resident status for their foreign workforce. He also advises individuals on maintaining U.S. resident status during overseas periods and handles matters related to citizenship, such as dual citizenship and the potential loss of citizenship.
